Therapy & Executive Coaching for
Accomplished Professionals
I am a globally experienced clinical psychologist and higher education leader whose career spans continents and communities—from leadership in the launch of multi-campus universities in Africa to delivering clinical services in Baltimore, East Los Angeles, and Indigenous communities in Canada and Alaska, as well as partnering with NGOs in the Middle East, South America, and Africa.
With over 30 years of experience as a professor, dean, and university president, I bring a rare blend of academic leadership, cross-cultural insight, and clinical expertise. I am deeply attuned to the unique challenges faced by educators, healthcare providers, humanitarian professionals, and lawyers—especially those navigating abrupt transitions, moral injury, and the isolation that can come with high-impact, high-mobility careers.
A multilingual “nomad” by nature, I have lived and worked in environments as diverse as Nome, Alaska and Pereybere, Mauritius. My clinical practice is grounded in creating a safe, steady space for high-achieving professionals to process pain, reconnect with their values, and move forward with clarity and resilience. I am particularly skilled at helping clients address the deeper wounds that can resurface during career upheaval, toxic work environments, or after years of service in demanding roles.
My approach is distinguished by my ability to bridge the worlds of therapy and mentorship, offering both clinical depth and practical guidance. I am committed to helping clients not just survive, but thrive—reclaiming their sense of purpose and well-being, even in the face of profound change.

Services to Support You
Therapy Tailored for Accomplished Professionals & Executive Leaders
Devoting your life and career to the service of others while being incredibly accomplished does not exempt you from psychological distress. And, there is no quick fix, no manual or handbook for dealing with it. High achieving professionals are often unfamiliar with asking for help for personal issues and figuring out who to trust for help can be daunting.
My practice is specifically tailored to meet the needs of executive leaders and accomplished professionals because all services are delivered by a highly skilled clinical psychologist who also brings the perspective of having served as senior executive in higher education and health care sectors for over 15 years.
I bring a trauma informed approach to my practice. Emotional wounds and traumas from the past may have become reactivated by the stress of your work. In the safety of therapy these can be addressed and you can reclaim your peace and well-being.
Coaching for Career Changers

As your career coach I will help you re-imagine retirement from a life span development perpective. This will provide you with an opportunity to systematically reflect on your career successes and life achievements. This process is key to charting the path forward as you embrace a future of fulfillment building upon your rich career and previous accomplishments.
PS. It’s not about losing your professional identity, but rather about launching your next stage of human development.
